On this day in 1966 our van 'Florence' rolled out

On this day in 1966 our van 'Florence' rolled out of the Volkswagen Wolfsberg factory. One of just 350 high top RHD vans ordered by the Swiss Postal Service, 'Florence' spent 10 years delivering post in the Bern area. She was then sold to a Swiss doctor who used her for family holidays, turning her into a camper for over 10 years. @pollys_parlour story started in 2011 when 'Florence' was found in Bucharest, Hungary where she had been used as a tour bus for a local rock band, before heading back across Europe and into the UK to be transformed into the van you see today. A history of delivering letters & parcels, holidays, music and now delivering fabulous ice cream ~ Happy 60th Birthday Florence ✉️📦🧳🎺🍦❤️🍦❤️🍦❤️
